Nonsuch parkrun
A very rare weekend off allowed Jo and I the chance to travel to the mainland last weekend, and to run at the Nonsuch Park parkrun on the Surrey/London border. Being just 10 minutes' walk from my parents house, we warmed ourselves up with a brisk walk through Nonsuch park, to arrive beside the Mansion House. We've attended over 100 Medina I.O.W. parkruns, and as a result we have grown accustomed to knowing everyone there, usually spending all the time pre-run catching up with our extended running family. But it was utterly different last Saturday, as we didn't know a soul there (until my family arrived en mass a little later!).
