On Saturday 16th December 2023, Newport Business Association is bringing seasonal music and entertainment to our historic town centre. We wanted some good, old-fashioned, Christmassy activities, and have been lucky enough to find some wonderful professional and amateur choirs, groups and entertainers.
From 11:30am until 4:30pm the entertainers featured above will be performing in 30 minutes slots, in either St Thomas Square or St James Square. Come and enjoy them whilst you do your Christmas shopping or eat in one of the many wonderful Square eateries.

We will also have churros and gluhwein vendors in St Thomas’ Square, and a face-painter to entertain your children!
At 4:30pm some of our groups (lead by the Minster “Singing for Fun” group) will lead a “Carols Around the Tree” concert outside the Minster, so do come and join in. Song sheets will be available.
